About Library
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND:
The library started functioning along with the School itself in the year 2004. It accumulated a good collection of resources and infrastructure by the years.
LIBRARY COLLECTION:
The library developed a core collection of reference materials that included Encyclopedias, Biographies, Maps, Yearbooks, Almanacs, Dictionaries, Atlases, Subject reference materials and textbooks. Some important additions were the Encyclopedia Britannica (32 volumes set) and the Encyclopedia of Careers and Vocational Guidance.
Presently the library has one Ready Reference Section, located in the reading room for easy accessibility and a closed reference section in the stack room. The library had a good collection of Audio-visual aids.

WORKING HOURS:
Opening Hours: 6.55 A.M. to 1.10 P.M. on all working days of the institute.
MEMBERSHIP:
All students, faculty members and staff of the institute can access the library. The library facilities and services can be availed for the purpose of academic, research and administrative work. The registration to use the library facility and services is automatic for the faculty and staff on joining the school. Students become library members after taking the admission in the class. Use of library facilities and services implies acceptance of its rules and procedures.
OPEN ACCESS:
The library follows open access system in which the users can choose the books from the shelves freely according to their interest.
SERVICES AND FACILITIES:
- Readers Services: Registration of institute faculty, staff and students as library members; assistance in locating reading material, orientation to new users.
- Borrowing Facility: The library members can borrow books for a specific period according to their borrowing privileges.
- Photocopy Facility: This facility will be started soon.
- Current Awareness Service: The library members are periodically notified about the new arrivals of books and journals through the library website.
- Reference Service: The library houses a good number of reference books and also has access to information resources in electronic form. Library staff is always available for guidance and help with the reference material, and also for answering your reference queries.
- Course Reserves: Textbooks recommended by the teachers for different courses are kept in the Course Reserve section. These books can be consulted only in the library premises against Identity Card.
- Library-cum-Reading Room Facility: Is available in the Library.
- Book Bank Facility: Avalible
- Video Viewing Facility: The Library has a collection of more than 400 videos. The Videos are kept in the Computer Application Division of the library.
- Internet access Facility: Library provides internet access for all the teachers.
